Your Voice Matters. Your Vote Matters.

Election Day is almost here. On Saturday, October 17, Kamloops residents will have the opportunity to vote in the 2026 General Local Election and help choose who will represent them on City Council.
Local elections matter because the local government touches everyday life. Roads, recreation, housing, public safety, infrastructure, city services, and long-term planning are all shaped by the people at the Council table.
Over the past four years, I have seen how important it is to have steady, informed, and respectful leadership in that role. Municipal government requires patience, preparation, listening, and a clear understanding of how decisions are made. It also requires people who are willing to work together in the best interests of the city.
As I seek re-election, my priorities remain focused on good governance, respect, teamwork and practical decision-making.
Kamloops has important work ahead. We need to continue moving forward with Build Kamloops, recreation and community infrastructure, housing, public safety, service levels and planning for a growing city.
This election is an opportunity to look closely at the candidates, ask questions, review platforms and think about the kind of leadership you want representing you.
Your opinion matters. Your priorities matter. Your vote matters.
Whether you have followed every Council meeting or are just starting to learn more about the election, I encourage you to take part. Talk to your neighbours, read about the candidates and make a plan to vote.
Kamloops is a city worth showing up for.
If my priorities and approach align with what you want for the future of our city, I would be grateful for your support on October 17.
Thoughtful Leadership. Sound Counsel.
